What is required to use in GitBash

I can't get to pik to run from GitBash,

• I read from https://github.com/vertiginous/pik that "Pik..can be used from the Windows command line (cmd.exe), Windows PowerShell, or Git Bash"
• I started by installing pik with the msi.
• I then installed the gem - as I read later that "The MSI installer currently doesn’t install the needed files to use Pik from Git Bash"
• I then ran the pik installer, from pik itself "pik_install C:\pik"
• I still can't run in GitBash.

Can anyone tell me which one of the 3 methods of install (some of which require 2 installs in themselves? - sorry I did find this confusing) is required to get pik to run from GitBash?

Apologies, I should have searched harder - I found the answer at SO - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4020635/how-can-i-use-pik-for-ruby-in-git-bash-on-windows, I should try and get this on the wiki
