Draft for SSI workshop application:

The Our Handbook resources include a template for co-creating a research or RSE group handbook, and materials to help you use it. In this session, we’d like to show you how group leaders and members can work together using these resources to: A. build a healthy, inclusive, enjoyable research culture in their group B. produce the most ethical and rigorous research possible

The session will include:

1. a tour of the template: the template includes materials for
2. a tour of the meta-handbook: a resource to help you fill out your handbook
3. examples of Our Handbook in action by other groups.

This will show you what’s available, and how to use and access the materials, as well as showing how other groups have used Our Handbook to commit to best practice (such as FAIR data, use of Version Control, or Code of Conducts), include everyone’s knowledge, and make resources available. We’ll also talk about the benefits of doing so.
