Update to Centos 8 #1

Current OS is Centos 7, let's move on to Centos 8. I tried it already but it's not as trivial as it seems. There's some package dependencies and we may need to re-build samba and or wimlib. Or should we go for Redhat 8 maybe? There seems to be a license for OSS projects, although I'm not sure if UDA qualifies for that license.

Greetings, just discovered your project a couple days ago and am extremely impressed! Still getting up to speed, absorbing what I can glean from the old vmware communities thread, and have been testing your latest release.

If you are still considering changing OS I would humbly request you to consider switching to https://rockylinux.org. Have been testing a recent FOG build on Rocky Linux 8.5 and so far their OS seems very solid, their documentation is quite excellent as well.

Since your comment is some months old you are probably already aware, but just in case you have not seen yet... Rocky Linux was started by the original founder of CentOS, Gregory Kurtzer, and it is an OSS one-to-one downstream of RHEL. It seems to have become the favored replacement for CentOS and it has been embraced by pretty much all of big tech.

Keep up the great work!

why not moving to ubuntu LTS, so the operating sistem will be supported for more time. I was able to roughly move the old version (2.0) on ubuntu LTS 20.04 and nginx, then I realize the original project was still maintened.
