Freeze right after loading <mac>/boot.cfg

Hi,

I've observed this with UDA 2 already sometimes and now I'm trying to implement UDA 3.0 for UEFI support to install our ESXi servers, but unfortunately right when the ESXi installer would boot, it stops after the message "UEFI Secure Boot is not enabled" or after a few files, where it then throws the error "Fatal error: 15 (Not found)" at vim.v00 in red color, so I guess network connectivity somehow gets interrupted or at least it looks like it. I had similar behavior when I had IP conflicts in that network.

Where can I start to look? Which infos do you need so we can troubleshoot this?

Any help would be highly appreciated, UDA has been a massively valuable tool for the past 10 years.

I'm not sure, is UDA supposed to support UEFI for ESXi at all? How did you configure it to get that far? Another question is if UDA supports ESXi 8.x

Hello,

I am booting it via non secure UEFI and 7.x works out of the box with HPE and DELL.

You need to add a line on boot.cfg for UCS-X

Haven't tested 8.x so far.
