So the fridge can continue to function the fridge api needs to be reimplemented. This also opens up for the possibility of improving it. This should be discussed with the fridge group.

A possibility is to develop this as a seperate service as i don't see many reasons for this to be part of the "main" veven application. That way an outage to veven does not take down the fridge service. Adding/viewing items/transactions could be implemented with an api between the veven website and the fridge service. Another benifit is that if someone decides to make veven 4.0 they can reuse the fridge service.

I think this api can be generalized to handle different shops. Maybe the fridge is one shop, vandrebar is one shop and bleastcom has one shop. Where the fridge shop is always open, but the other shops are only open at specific times.
