TV4Play not working... New layout! #353

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
TV4Play has change the layout of the page and I won't even start (same issue as
SVTPlay). When I press the TV4 I only see a short blink on the screen then
nothing more.

Damn, they made it a bit more complexer. I did manage to get it fixed and also
improved folder detection. I also excluded the non-free items (I could filter
them with the new layout).

Could you check the new attached version of the TV4 channel and let me know the
results?

It seems to work pretty nice but with some small issues. I found out that
http://www.tv4play.se/noje/time_out only have "Senaste klippen" and "Hela
program" is empty. When I open "Hela program" in xot-uzg it will show all the
"Senaste klippen". Can you separate "Hela program" and "Senaste klippen" into
two different folders?

There are another options for users not in Sweden (see attachment). They can
use an options to show only programs that you can see out side Sweden. Is this
something you can add? You detect free programs so can you detect this too and
make an option for users out side Sweden to only list programs they can watch?

Tell me what you need or take a look at it your self. You know how to do that :)

I did a quick test with the new .py file and today there are lots of programs
listed, I tried to start two of them, the first failed, but the second one
played nicely. With the old .py file there were no programs listed (using
script). Nice work, and fast! I'll test it more some other day, for now I'm
just trying out XBMC and XOT briefly to see that it works on my platform.

Ok, I tweaked more, or better, re-did the folder detection. Please try again.
If there are items that do not work, let me now what items won't play.

I also implemented the Geo-Lock detection, but the setting (to show or hide)
will not be available until the next XOT-Uzg.v3 release. For now it shows all
free items and those include geolocked ones. If you don't want that, change the
False in line 90 to True (hideGeoLocked = True).

GGG123David, can you tell me the program that failed for you so I can test it?
I have none so far that have failed.

Bas, if a program have both free and premium episodes do you list premium too
or should premium be hidden?

Original comment by jagflash...@gmail.com on 21 Jun 2012 at 10:15

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
On the listing of all showsI do not show those that are marked as Premium. But
if a show was listed as free and also has Premium content, those video's will
show, but will have an indication that it's premium content.

It was Bandy (the top clip) but it seems to work today, with the same .py file.

Out of curiosity: I thought these on-demand channels use Flash (at least some
of them haven't implemented html5 support yet) and I thought Flash, being
proprietary, could not be part of XOT? Or is it just the Flash browser plugin
that is proprietary, not the stream format itself?

Original comment by GGG123DA...@gmail.com on 24 Jun 2012 at 2:29

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I do not use any flash. XOT only finds the stream and passes it on to XBMC for
playback.
