Put APK to github releases #248

So others can download the app if they don't use Play store

maybe we should recommend people using https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium?

or of course we should be able to send a notification to older versions

The priority of this should not be low. For the first its pretty simple to offer the apk on github or the webpage. I would like to introduce the app in my community, but they don't use Google play, me not, too.

Use Aurora Store for the time being.

This is very important for me. The advise to use Aurora is not very useful. Aurora is unstable and it's pain to use.

Downloading it directly from GitHub is simple and straight-forward. I use Obtainium for A LOT of apps.

This is low-hanging fruit that can provide a lot of value for users of Obtainium.

If this is a low-hanging fruit please contribute a PR with a GitHub action that provides a deterministic build of the APK ...

In another words, this is being worked on, but we want to make it right - to have the builds deterministic and reproducible. Introducing flake.nix was the first of many steps needed.

Well, I don't need reproducible build right now. It would be great for sure. But step 0 can be ~any APK~ any signed APK by developers key (same what you are doing in Google Play.

Better done then perfect.

I don't get it to run. Can you please give me a hint how to add vexl with obtainium? Trying vexl-android I get "can't find a version".

With obtainium app manager this is done automatically 👌
