Did you try disabling that thing about sending guide updates?

I'm not seeing a setting like that in Dizque or xTeVe. There's something about refreshing the guide in the Plex DVR settings.
In dizqueTV's plex server settings.
In dizqueTV's plex server settings.
I tried disabling guide updates but it still failed. Once I disabled channel updates it stopped failing but I had no guide for the Dizque channels. I re-enabled guide updates and now I have EPG and a working DVR.
I'm curious... what exactly do these two settings do? Why would Plex need guide updates from Dizque if you have the same xmltv info mapped to those channels in xTeVe, and that xml mapped in Plex?
I don't really know, those checkboxes come from pseudotv's code.
@dbowles1975 per your first comment about creating dummy channels with flex content only, that is exactly what I have done and that does solve the problem. not ideal, because every time i want to assign a new channel number in Xteve I need to make sure that channel exists in DizqueTV. But... it works and I haven't found another way to solve the issue. But if you do find another solution, please post here as i would be interested to try.

If you uncheck the "send channel updates" option for your Plex server the issue goes away.
@dbowles1975 thanks, ill give that a try!
I'm unsure if this is an issue with Plex, Dizque, or xTeVe but I will post here as well in case someone has come across a working solution. I am not the author of this reddit post but my issue is IDENTICAL.

From what others are saying in that thread, it appears Dizque may be causing this issue. The workaround to add dummy channels is going to take me a while since I have 228 channels in my xTeVe m3u, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something before I proceed. Thanks.
