Taking picture does not work - LG E400 #315

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On Messenger type: camera
2. gtalksms replys: Taking picture
3. Notihing happens at all

What is the expected output?
picture file saved to folder

What do you see instead?
nothing - and no noise from the camera

Additional informations:
Phone model: LG E400

I did "camera:list" which showed "0- Hintere Kamera".
Then "camera:set:0" - no success - still not working

Hello again,

Just tried the camera feature on my second phone, an huawei y200 with android 
2.x and unfortunatelly it doesn't work, too.

same thing happens. says "takeing picture" but nothing is done :(

I got the same problem, I am using Nexus 7 which has 4.2.2 installed.

Same problem here on a Samsung Galaxy running cyanogenmode 10.1.

New fixes added.
It works on Nexus 4, GS2 and Galaxy Note 10.1

I hope that is working on every device
