Hi Martien,
that's quite strange. I could not reproduce it:
In [9]: DWE.fetch(['A:ANZB'],['NAME'], static=True)
Request:A:ANZB~=NAME~REP
Out[9]:
CCY NAME SYMBOL
0 A$ AUS.& NZ.BKG.GP.PREF. A:ANZB
In [10]: DWE.fetch(['A:ANZB'], ['P'], date_from='2013-01-01')
Request:A:ANZB~=P~2013-01-01~D
Out[10]:
P
2013-01-01 101.900
2013-01-02 101.950
2013-01-03 101.700
Are you sure that you're on the last version? "static" argument was introduced in 0.3.0 and the latest is 0.4.6. Could you perhaps try pip install -U pydatastream
?
Best Vladimir
Got it, it works now!
Wow! This really beats using the excel request table hands down.
Many thank!
Martien
You're welcome, I'm glad you've found it to be useful!
I'm closing the issue then.

It is far more convenient than accessing through their own software
Great!

Hi,
I am trying to pull a static request, however it throws an error:
I also tried the example from the readme, same error.
