Sort option for names #14

Is it possible to sort the students in the select menu by their last name? So to turn around the order of first name and last name. Or may be put an option to choose how the sorting is done?

Seems what is done atually when no groups, but not when using groups. Is that the case ? Please tell which branch you are using.

I'm using 3.6.0 (build 2018032400). In the course I use groups to cluster the students.
