Not able to play any song from online library when using VPN #1003

Steps to reproduce the bug

Select any song. It loads the album art But doesn't play the song and throw an error

Expected behavior

It should play song as app has internet permission

Actual behavior

It loads only album art

Is there any reason for using a vpn? Does it work without a vpn?

I use vpn to bypass some restricted websites. Tried without VPN it does work. But why not with vpn connection. I tried other app which plays music from YouTube library. That works without any issues

Have you tried cloud flare 1.1.1.1 app? If it bypasses restrictions, you can use that instead (or, if you want something advanced or more control, you could try https://nextdns.io)

Thanks for your suggestion but I will stick to vpn. I will wait for a fix though

I always use NordVPN (setup in home router and on cell). I have no issues with playback. Might be your VPN provider. You can possibly try to set ViMusic in SplitTunneling.

Ture, Happens to me as well, And I guess it's (maybe) due to the original tracks license limitation on different geo's, on disabling the VPN or bypass the app traffic via split tunneling, it works
