I check the box to automatically start at boot time but I get an error message
saying "An error ocurred while updating startup status".
I have searched the issues for similar ones and have found 2 of them but the
suggestions to create a folder in /home/username/.config/autostart (or make
sure it exists) did not work for me as the folder was already there and I
couldnt notice that android notifier creates any files in it so I cannot
conclude it actually uses it.
Perhaps my installation technique is faulty. I have downloaded the generic
amd64 zip file (running Slackware64 13.37), extracted its content to
/usr/local/bin/android-notifier and clicked on the run.sh script to start it.
I use XFCE 4.6.2 as my DE.
BTW, thanks for this simple but wonderful application!
