Wiiload Cannot Find Files (Android 7.1.1 Nougat) #1

The app cannot find any files on my device or SD Card, because the app doesn't ask for permission to view the storage, thus I cannot grant that permission. Is there any way I can fix this issue?

Does this new release solve this problem?

Apparently not (Got another user-report of it not being able to find the files still), will have to look at further storage permissions and test on more devices
