Many thanks for your solution! Do you have any idea on how to do the same thing with Gnome Boxes (Which uses QEMU - KVM) by any chance?

Unfortuantely, I broke my Windows VM with this, now getting an error on boot:

Configuration error: Querying "BootDevice0" as a string failed (VERR_CFGM_VALUE_NOT_FOUND). Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: ConsoleWrap Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
