Description of issue

The following organs have little or actually positive effect on the person, if surgically detached with a scalpel: brain, heart and lungs. Heart and lungs have no effect, but the brain being disconnected will make you completely ignore pain.

Difference between expected and actual behavior

I expect you to die.

The brain one was a weird change done here #29435. My feature request was for people to not feel pain when something slices/injures their brain (since the brain itself doesn't feel pain). But help-maint made it so brain-detached people don't feel pain. Admittedly, it's kinda weird and powergamey, but it requires surgery and a helping hand so I've never seen it used in-round aside from some lowpop experimenting.
