Detective hi-res scanner SUCKS #31483

First of all, anything you scan is inaccessible until you put the small scanner in the big scanner, scan the small scanner, wait for it to scan, then it creates a useless dossier of the small scanner, which contains your fingerprints or glove fibers. The menu is also very ugly and due for an update.

That scanner is a big meme and long overdue for removal. Though for that some coder out there would have to care about detective, even the rest of security barely seems to acknowledge them.

I have scanners with me every chance I get, they are a great tool for figuring out antags during slower rounds (which never exist anymore because lol dynamic) They could use a facelift, but sifting through the evidence in the office isn't a bad thing.

The high res scanner can print the extra data from the handheld scanner, but the UI is a mess.
