Using a fish net on a tank but stepping away still allows you to pop a fish out no matter where you may be

Steps to Reproduce

Use fish net on an aquarium Step away before you select your fish Select fish Fish pops out at your current location

What you Expected

Failure to pop a fish out if you're still not in range

What Actually Happened

Fish net that extends as you walk away

Clearly you took the fish on the net with you and untangled it after. Feature(TM).
