Unzombification Needs to be CONSISTENT #32602

Putrid zombies can't be unturned Turned zombies can be unturned There is no visual distinction between them at all which leads to great confusion

You actually turn into a different mob whenever you use the evolve verb

there's multiple types of zombies? i've also heard about zombie feeding and evolution in deadchat is there more to do as a zombie apart from dying to the simplemob zombies and getting butchered by an assistant?

It's arcane knowledge at this point but when you turn zombie you can be revived back into a crew member (not just cured, you actually end up properly alive) by bible slapping. In the IC tab there is a button for zombies that says evolve. If you check your status tab while zombified you have 2 counters, times revived and times eaten. Evolving either way makes you unsaveable, bible slaps cannot bring you back, but starts you down one of two paths. If your times revived is high you turn into a crimson head, which does big damage and heals by biting, if your times eaten is high you become a putrid zombie that can revive corpses into more zombies by taking bites out of them.

Zombification itself could use an overhaul, like being able to shoot/cut off heads instead of needing to butcher them wholesale (That way you might get a chance to be revived instead of round removed via butchery.)
