Captain's Log 68: Blood in the Water, Treasure in the Air #32825

Before turning to a life of crime, Captain Stonebeard, feared throughout the galaxy for his ruthlessness and diet of rocks, was once an ordinary station captain. On the day of his hanging he wrote (due to a strong lack of teeth) in his last words that, in memory of this better time, he had buried all of his treasure below the air alarm of his former office upon the Asteroid.

Now, I'm no treasure hunter. Digging's a job for younger men with younger backs, and at the end of the day the coins you get usually aren't even in circulation anymore. A treasure I can look for without even leaving my office is something that only comes once in a blue moon, however, so I begin my search thusly:

The Grand Expedition cap1 That's it. Couldn't find it. Checked under the tables, opened the blast doors, even felt up the walls to make sure it wasn't just one of those invisible ones mimes sell you. vent The vent's still there too, forever awaiting its truant master like an aged Japanese holdout on some godforsaken island. capalarm Despite repeated armed threats the AAC refused to give up its secrets as well, merely showing the one in my quarters.

After nearly five minutes of effort I could not see a trace missing alarm. To be thorough I then cleared out the office bar and determined that it wasn't inside any of the bottles. The search ended cold at that point after forgetting who I was. I wish you, my dear readers, better luck in your hunts.

@Kurfursten @west3436 That's for JUST the captain's quarters. The one for the office isn't connected to that air alarm at all, hence why I posted the vent showing it was assigned to the Captain's Office. If I had to guess, Veers made the same mistake you did and assumed it covered both.

I demand my issue reopened and an apology from my good friends west3436 and Kurfursten.

Issues need to have a clear title mang! I'm a fan of the fluff in the PR text but issue titles gotta be searched...

Kurfursten commented 2 years ago

I won't apologize while you continue to obfuscate your issues with lengthy jokes

Eneocho commented 2 years ago

lengthy jokes

They should be lengthier, they are a nice read and explain the issue in detail, much unlike the issues that just say "thing broken".
