Recently in a round I was silence stung by a changing but escaped. I was still mute when I made it to medbay, so I attempted to *point emote at my mouth to indicate that I could not speak, but the silence sting seemed to prevent me from doing so.
Difference between expected and actual behavior
You would expect to be able to use emotes that are silent, if stung by a changeling's silent sting. It should only disable speaking or those emotes which require sound. Instead, it disables the kind of emotes I've described.
Don't mimes have something like silent emotes? I recall mimes can silently burp or something. If I don't misremember something perhaps the silence sting could make them behave like mimes for emote purposes.
Steps to reproduce
Get stung by changeling and try to use the point emote.
