Swiss Army Knives can hold (but not start with) multitools. #36734

What this does

Swiss Army Knives are now compatible with multitools, as in, you can just slot one in. THEY DO NOT START WITH A MULTITOOL, this only lets you add one to them, should you get one.

Why it's good

Flows way better when using a swiss when hacking, since you can just slot it in instead of having to juggle.

How it was tested

Spawned a swiss army knife and a multitool, checked the swiss first, it had no multitool (intended), slotted the multitool in, worked as intended. Checked the regular switchtool, didn't seem to have any issue either. :cl:

Doesn't it need a sprite for that too?

Eneocho commented 4 days ago

There's one already, it's used on the engi and regular switchtool, so the overlay is already there and works as intended.

now we just need to give them a cable coil holder and an upgraded lighter aka welder

funnily enough, there's already code to handle both cablecoils and welders (for the engi switchtool)

The Swiss Army Knife is already insanely powerful, toolbelts basically don't even have a reason to exist as is because of them. I don't think this needs even more creep.

I also feel like it's worth mentioning that if you're hacking a door open you can do that with the provided tools already. You don't need to pulse the test wire, you can simply cut it instead so long as you don't intend to hack that door again later.
