Created pull request # 503: https://github.com/vhbb/cmssw/pull/503

Scale factors for MVAID WP80 and 90 have been added. ttH group has been contacted about 80X electron trigger SFs.

Any news about the trigger SF ?

dcurry09 commented 8 years ago

From ttH the single electron SF for Data are not ready yet. If we need for next few days we could produce our own ele25 data trigger efficiencies and change our single electron trigger at the same time.

do I understand that the electron trigger SF are still missing? (MVAID sohuld be here https://github.com/vhbb/cmssw/pull/504)

dcurry09 commented 8 years ago

Yes, they were in the process of being calculated by Chris Palmer as of last week. I will commit as soon as they become available.

hello, news?

GLP90 commented 8 years ago

The Json for the electrons trigger have been produced. However, after some first cross-checks, it seems the efficiency values are too low. So I think one would need to correct for this and reproduce the Json.

Ciao, I see that we have these two set of "gsfToReco" SF: https://github.com/vhbb/cmssw/blob/vhbbHeppy80X/VHbbAnalysis/Heppy/data/leptonSF/ScaleFactor_GsfElectronToRECO_passingTrigWP80.json https://github.com/vhbb/cmssw/blob/vhbbHeppy80X/VHbbAnalysis/Heppy/data/leptonSF/ScaleFactor_GsfElectronToRECO_passingTrigWP90.json Do people remember what they are for?

What we are instead missing are the pt-independent (but eta-dependent) SF for GSF tracking recommended for 80X: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMS/EgammaIDRecipesRun2#Electron_efficiencies_and_scale Do you agree?

A new set of SF for the GSF tracking is here: https://github.com/vhbb/cmssw/pull/556
