In page 9 of UG, a sentence under "View details of a student" has been highlighted in grey with no specific purpose.

Team's Response

It looks fine on the website, which users would have access to. The highlighting was out of our control when printing as a pdf. The screenshot below shows the view on the website.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue response

Team chose [response.NotInScope]

Reason for disagreement: The team has not provided reasons for why it would be NotInScope. The reasoning provided by team is in the view that it is not a bug. However, instead of rejecting the bug, they have added it to NotInScope.

The PE documentation bug reporting's scope is only the pdf and does not include the website. So, a bug in the pdf cannot be justified by saying that it isn't present in the website. Hence, it cannot be said that "highlighting was out of our control". It is within the scope as the team is expected to go through the pdf to check for bugs and correct them accordingly.

Furthermore, in the event that it is okay to have bugs within the pdf but not in the website, the team has not provided any link to the website in the DG or UG, hence it still cannot be a valid reason for not considering it as a bug.

Below is an image taken from the website where it specifies that the bugs should be reported from the pdf only.

Now that I think about it, I think the severity should be low and not veryLow as this isn't just a cosmetic bug as it is missing information, and not that information is displayed in the wrong format.
