As described in #12, @vohof suggested the minimal fix for the same problem @sadid was describing here it is to save others time

Oh I should say that I am on Arch Linux, and installed as following the readme with

cabal install yeganesh

not

cabal instal --global yeganesh

as described in #4 . So the global flag is unnecessary if the script includes the subshell as @vohof said, and I have posted.
