This helps, thank you!

As mentioned in #2, this may be hard to fix without breaking more common cases. But I'll look into it.

Also, looking at the full highlighted message, it's all kinds of broken. Lots of work to do here!

victor-gp commented 1 year ago

Working on this in this branch.

Still a work in progress because I cannot consistently target the subcommand + another_term pattern.

And it has also added false positives (see 1e73be3), which are inconsistent themselves.

victor-gp commented 1 year ago

(The pushed commit referenced the wrong issue, sorry for the noise

On the other hand, I made headways on adressing this issue a couple weeks ago.

But with very limited, non-ambitions scope because it can break a lot of things.

I need to fix a few more broken things and I'll get that work merged.)

Hi @Freed-Wu! Took me a while but I'm finally resolving this.

As previously mentioned, this is a partial solution. It does scope all of the subcommands in adb, just not their sub-arguments, sub-options, etc. Those will have to wait until we properly handle Usage lines (see #24).

I hope this is a satisfactory outcome to you!

Lastly, if cmd-help has been useful to you, please consider giving it a star :star:
