Auto-Switch mode reporting proxy status wrong. Says it's "direct connection" when it is indeed proxied. #532

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit a site that's supposed to be proxied by Auto-Switch
2. Icon in toolbar doesn't change to the appropriate status, nor does the 
status when you mouse over the button.
3.

What is the expected output?
It should say it's proxied and what proxy profile it is using.

What do you see instead?
Says it's not proxied. I only know it is because one of the sites I visit 
refuses all U.S. traffic.

Linux

none
