What steps will reproduce the problem?
Using PWM for account activation generates this error message.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
During account activation on pwm 1.7.1, 1.8-beta (and SSPR3) we get this error
message.
PWM 1.7.1: After you click on "Accept/Agree" button to the IT rules then we get
this error message. This is the stage when we set "LoginDisabled" to false.
PWM 1.8-beta: When we use the nightly build then we go further than this step
but we get the error message after the user tries to set the password.
"unexpected error during post change password action 'ActivateUser write
attributes' null".
After setting the password, PWM is supposed to set "ActivationAllowed" and a
couple of other attributes.
The interesting thing here is that account works ok, which means PWM set the
password but can't set the attributes. If we disable the same account which got
this error message and try to activate it again then everything goes fine.
Could it be that PWM is unable to set the ObjectClass in the first attempt??
What version of PWM are you using?
PWM 1.7.1 and the nightly build.
SLES 11.3
Tomcat 6.0.18
IBM Java 1.7 SR7.
What ldap directory and version are you using?
eDir 8.8.8 hf1
