Description

At the moment i have a 3 phase victron system with 2 grid tie inverters, one Fimer PVS10 and one Fimer UNO DM 3.0. I have 4 Multis configured in a 3 phase system with 2 units on L1 and 1 unit on L2 and another on L3. (I know this is not recomended but it has worked very nicely) I only have 6.9 kVA of "contracted" peak power usage and therefore i cannot use more than 10.5 Amps on each individual phase. The problem i run into is quite interesting. I have an export limit of 6.8 kVA (or kW, imposed by the utility grid) and that would be total amount distributed over the 3 phases, but my loads are not the same on all 3 phases and I also have an extra 3 kW of solar on L1. This makes me sometimes export 16 amps on L1 and 6 or 7 amps on L2 and L3... This causes my utility meter to cut off.

Suggested Solution

My request would be that the system makes a balanced power export to the grid and takes in consideration the 10.5 A of current max for each phase... If I am using power from the grid it already does this very well. I would like to request an option to make the 10.5 A limit also for exporting power to the grid... In a 3 phase system this makes sense for a lot of other reasons.

This is not a dynamic ESS specific question, but rather a more general ESS one. What you can do is set the AC input current limit of the Multi to 10.5A.

If that does not work properly, I suggest opening a new issue in the venus repository (of course you can refer to this issue).
