I recently updated my Cerbo GX from firmware version 3.12 to 3.31 and noticed the following behaviour: the screen remains powered on after an alarm is triggered (i.e. "Grid lost") and does not blank out after a short period, as was the case with the old firmware. It remains powered on until someone aknowledges the alarm.
The display power off setting is 30 seconds, as before.
I suspect the constant screen power-on for days or weeks at a time does not bode well for its longevity. Is this an intended behaviour or change in the more recent firmwares? If so, what is its purpose and how should someone with a GX Touch handle it such that it won't be damaged in the long run?
