HLS.js error: networkError - fatal: true - fragLoadError #2155

i have no idea what i am doing but i am running into issues loading videos on one website and keep getting this message.

What have you tried so far? i pulled up the web developer tools and noticed this message videojs.plugin() is deprecated; use videojs.registerplugin() instead

Specified “type” attribute of “application/x-mpegURL” is not supported. Load of media resource https://streaminfo-vod.secure.footprint.net/d9f5f986-0f63-4d19-9130-add11745a783.mp4/playlist.m3u8 failed.

but dont know if that is helpful.

Hello! I think this would be better answered by developers from the videojs project. Their provider setup likely is doing things on top of the hls.js API to determine when to use this project, versus other providers they have available to them.

This is the provider https://github.com/videojs/http-streaming that you would log the issue at, but from the message, I believe you are running a newer version of videojs, with an older provider somewhere.

I encountered this issue and it turned out the antivirus (Kaspersky) didn't trust the stream. I added an exclusion in Kaspersky settings and it worked
