Can we setup the broadcasting to the Rinkeby network? #6

I try to run my broadcaster in the rinkeby network. But my video can not transcoded, i already deposited 9 ETH each for deposit and reserve fund but still cant transcoded my video stream. Can you help me?

Sadly, the current version of the Livepeer Protocol is not deployed to Rinkeby right now, so it is not possible to run a Broadcaster / Transcoder on that test network.

I will keep this issue open in case things change.

As you can see, it is incomplete due to the technical limitations of the Livepeer Protocol not being deployed to Rinkeby.

I am sorry if i am not understand much about livepeer. In the livepeer.org (https://livepeer.org/docs/video-developers/getting-started/run-broadcaster) there is a guide to run stream that use rinkeby as a network when start as Broadcaster, the video stream run at the rinkeby network right? I am sorry if i look stupid but really thank you if you can explain that to me

Hi @AlphaRazra - yes, if you follow the instructions in that link, your Broadcaster will be using rinkeby network to transcode content. You will need to publish content into your Broadcaster.

Are you having some difficulties making this work?

Thank you, so now i am confident about my understanding. But yes, i have some difficulties, more than like little bit confuse. Cause i already run my stream using rinkeby network like 10 minutes and nothing happen to my ETH balance (just decreasing little bit because fee of transaction) or my LPT in rinkeby, is it expected to decrease cause i have to pay some balance for transcoding ?
