Can't play hls stream in some mobile devices using chrome #8789

Description

I am using video js in my website to stream hls video which is encrypted. The videos run smoothly on some devices but some people can't load the same video. Issue is happening on mobile devices with google chrome. I am providing an image of that error. Before that, I have also tried hls.js and the issue was same. error-video-js

o as it is a course so, the access is provided to the students.

Steps to reproduce

it's just working fine in some devices but in some devices can't play the same video.

Chrome.

moslty on android mobiles

What sort of encryption? Some budget Android phones don't support Widevine. Impossible to say much without a reproducible test case but as you're getting the same behaviour on two different players on the same devices, it's less likely the issue is the players.
