Widevine HDCP_NO_DIGITAL_OUTPUT not working as expected on Chrome browser

• I've enabled HDCP_NO_DIGITAL_OUTPUT Enforcement on the Widevine license we're issuing, to prevent the sharing the videos via Eternal monitor, and it working as expected, but it currently causes playback issues on the internal monitor of Chrome browser in both Windows and macOS. The error message received is:
• DRM keystatus changed to "output-restricted." Removing the following HD playlists that will most likely fail to play and clearing the buffer. This may be due to HDCP restrictions on the stream and the capabilities of the current device.

Environment:

• Browser: Chrome Version 121.0.6167.184 (x86_64) in Mac and Chrome Version 121.0.6167.185 (64-bit) in Dell.
• OS: [Dell Windows 10 and MacBook Pro]
• Video.js version: 7.21.4
• Video.js contrib eme: 3.8.0

Steps to Reproduce:

• Enable HDCP_NO_DIGITAL_OUTPUT.
• Attempt to play a video on Lenovo or MacBook Pro 2017.
• Observe the error mentioned above in the console.

Expected Behavior:

• HDCP_NO_DIGITAL_OUTPUT should only prevent external monitor sharing, not cause playback issues on the internal monitor.

I'm unsure if this is the appropriate repository to report this issue and any guidance on whether this is a Video.js-related problem or if there's a better place to report it would be highly appreciated.

Closing this, because this is not the issue in video.js, Chrome itself has an issue that causes problems when playing content encrypted with Widevine via IFrame with HDCP enabled. https://issues.chromium.org/issues/40694886.
