Cannot import data using tilde ~ field terminators #1154

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create a value delimited file with ~ tildes as field terminators
2.Try to import that data into a table.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that when you get to the second step of the import
process(after hitting "Open") the
fields are split up correctly.

What I see instead is a the whole record being mapped into one column.

What version of Sequel Pro are you using? What version of MySQL are you
connecting to on the server?
MySQL 5.5.8
SequelPro v 0.9.9.

I also tried some nightly builds all the way back to build 3277.

Sorry, could not verify in r3389 using ~ either as field separator or string
enclosing character.

Keep in mind that if ~ is marked yellow after you enter it, you must press
space.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.
When I walk through the import process I manually type in a ~ into the 'fields
terminated by' section since it is not available in the drop down selections.
I then click 'Open' and the whole line is in one column.

Would a screenshot help?

Older versions allow me to do this, I just have to type in the tilde ~ and then
backspace to remove the character that was there before.

May have figured out something useful. If I type the tilde into the dropdown
box and then click the open button, that's when it _doesn't_ work.

Now, if I type the tilde into the dropdown and hit enter, then it works
beautifully.

Have you checked what I said above:

> Keep in mind that if ~ is marked yellow after you enter it, you must press
space.

Yeah, I saw that, but I never see anything highlighted in yellow.
I figured it out though....to 'finalize' the tilde entry into the fields
terminated dropdown you either have to tab into a different dropdown or hit the
enter/return key.

Changing the value and then going straight to hitting the open button does not
'finalize' the dropdown entry and therefore does not take that into account when
splitting up the import file.

I've been unable to reproduce this, but have committed a speculative fix in
r3422. Could you please give that a go once it hits the nightly servers?
