Query editor replacing text in a way that makes queries fail. #1179

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Sequel Pro's query editor
2. Write a query referencing a column name with "tm" in it
3. Notice how it replaces the tm with the trademark symbol, the query now fails 
because mysql doesn't understand the trademark symbol.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of Sequel Pro are you using? What version of MySQL are you
connecting to on the server?
The latest .9.9.1.  Mysql 5.1.44 (although I can't imagine it's due to mysql)

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using Lion

I found this problem too, its a Lion thing which you can change in System 
Preferencs -> Language & Text -> Text
