I had a spreadsheet with about 2700 rows in it of contact data and importing it to a new table made 3300 rows #1185

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Import a spread sheet this one had 15 columns of data
2.Say "New Table" and give it a name
3.Import and let SP make the columns etc in the table

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected 2700 rows of data but go 3300

What version of Sequel Pro are you using? What version of MySQL are you
connecting to on the server?
0.9.9.1
MySQL 5.5.9

Please provide any additional information below.
I can send the data after I remove any personal info from it if needed.
I can offer time to reproduce it, screencast my doing that imports etc if
needed.
Just let me know what will help.

Hi Alfred,

The most likely cause of this is an oddly escaped line-terminator character.

Have a quick look in the spreadsheet, particularly the long text fields, until
you find a multiline cell. Then copy just that line, save it as you did
previously, and try importing just that - and see how many lines Sequel Pro
thinks there are.

Once you isolate the type of line causing the problem, it would be great if you
can attach a file as exported by your spreadsheet problem - it should be pretty
easy to remove personal information from that one line, hopefully :)
