Errors upon importing gzip compressed database. #1230

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Export a db with gzip enabled
2.Import it
3.Get errors (That didn't actually seem to affect anything though I did not
test it).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No errors should occur in the gzipped version if they do not occur in the non
compressed import.

What version of Sequel Pro are you using? What version of MySQL are you
connecting to on the server?
Exporting from:
 Mysql 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.10-log

Importing to:
Sequel Pro 0.9.9.1 build 3408
Mysql 5.5.9
iMac mac OSX 10.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi denfordberriman,

Could you give us a little detail about the errors you got? Are we talking SQL
errors - and if so, what kind? Was it things like being unable to restore the
encoding at the very end of the process? (I use gzip exports/imports a lot
without errors, so it'd be good to work out what's different in this case!)

Thanks.
