Hi,
I love what you have done with google maps it has been a valuable resource for 
my company. 
I'd like to know if there is any way to have an icon that can have the inside 
content edited after it has been uploaded to My Maps. For example: use a 
generic number icon and change the numbers inside.  Or do I have to create each 
icon with the number?

Hi Cora,

I'm happy to hear you find our work useful.  No, there is no way you can edit 
the icon after it has been uploaded. In the number example you need to have one 
icon for each icon.  Fortunately we have lot's of numbered icons for you to use 
here: [http://code.google.com/p/google-maps-icons/wiki/NumericIcons]  :-)
