Major: fixes handling of emoji characters in strings. This also actually improves performance compared to Appc's method. Gotcha: when using in a tableViewCell, there's a slight lag when the cell appeara for the first time. It's normal after that.

Minor:

touch locations in events
improved handling of firing events
