It probably won't work until I've reworked it, but I'm gonna sleep now.

Roight. This took far longer than I expected. But I learned a lot, I guess. As one might be able to tell by my aggressive force push history (thanks for pointing out my incompetence, github), I tested on a different machine, arm64. I'll have to look into remote builders.
