Unable to Save New Events

When I go to add a new landslide event onto the map it lets me enter all the data on it into the fields but when I try to save it a window pops up that says "An error occurred while trying to save - Bad Request".

This is probably due to the user being signed out automatically by the site. My current workaround is to open the home page in a new tab, refresh it, and sign in again if necessary.
