Feature: non-zip file format #12

Would it be possible to support also not binary file format? It definitely
would be bigger in size, but at the same time it would be possible to have
more human readable version-comparison when mind-map is stored in file
repository (cvs, svn, tg, etc)

Thank you.

Sounds an interesting suggestion.

Agreed. Uncompressed format is the only practical way to store often-changing
files
in a repository.

Came here to make the same suggestion. I need to diff in svn/git.
Additionally, it would be good if there were not a lot of changes to the XML
(ie reformatting, etc. that would make diffing less useful).

I would suggest the same. By just using the file system, it would be easy to
add more binary files such as images, AV files in the MIND. Thus it may be
possible in the future that XMind support playing such files in the software.
