Can't assing a file URL to a node on Linux #122

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. select a node 
2. use ctrl+H for hyperlink input
3. select "File"
4. browse to a directory (or file) and select it
5. click OK

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- Should validate URL
- OK action does nothing

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

3.0.3 Linux Ubuntu

Please provide any additional information below.

It works for me well in Version: 3.1.1
Linux 2.6.32-22-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 3 19:31:57 UTC 2010 x86_64
