What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download XMind 3.1.1 or 3.1.0 distribution and unpack
2. Try to launch the application
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: The application's main window should appear
Instead: The icon briefly appears on the dock and then disappears

The corresponding console error log is attached

Please provide any additional information below.
The machine is a standard iMac MB950 with Snow Leopard preinstalled,
all recent updates applied. XMind has demonstrated the same behavior
on a mac mini with a fresh install of Snow Leopard. XMind 3.0.3 is running
normally on both machines, and it does not update to 3.1.x

not sure your problem. does your computer account has the administrator right?
what about using the portable version? (unzip to a clear folder and begin to
use XMind for Mac)

Yes, my computer account has administrative rights. And I should mention that
it ran okay on the mini, when it had 10.5 installed. Seems to be an issue with
Snow Leopard.

What do you mean by a portable version? Unfortunately, the behavior described
in the original post occurs when I unzip to a clean folder and double-click the
XMind icon.
