Inconsistence Ctrl+S behavior #192

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open your map and make some changes
2. Open any notes make changes and press Ctrl+S
3. If you do it for first time, the mouse pointer switches to working shape and 
changes will be saved. That's OK
4. If you do other changes and press Ctrl+S again in this case happens nothing
5. If you omit previous step (changes are saved correctly) but unsaved 
indicator (*) remains displayed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version: 3.1.1
Linux 2.6.32-24-generic #38-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jul 5 09:20:59 UTC 2010 x86_64 
GNU/Linux
