Spell checking on Notes causes application to lock up #197

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new mind map
2. Create a new sub-topic
3. Generate 25 paragraphs of lipsum data from www.lipsum.com and add it into
the sub-topic note.

What is the expected output?
- Smooth scrolling
- application should not lock up.

What do you see instead?
- The notes editor should be smooth when scrolling and should not hang after
the first few lines being scrolled down.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- XMind 3.1.1
- Linux: Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)

Please provide any additional information below.
- Application memory sometimes doubles when scrolling (~140MiB-260MiB)
- CPU usage hovers between 90%-100% while opening a sub-topic note;
- Time to complete scroll ~3m31s, sometimes longer;
- Smooth scrolling and lock up disappears when spell checking has been disabled
(BTW Spell checking seems to disable/enable after restarting the application)
- Screenshot and Lipsum xmind map attached (SHA1SUM:
