this file's zip format may be broken. Do you close XMind normally?

I also got this problem. I run xmind 3.0.2 on WIN XP pro sp3 and the xmind file
is
save on the server.
Two times happened in different days this fail and I had very important
brainstorming with three differents groups.
I will change to 3.0.3 xmind version and continue using the software, but if
happen
again I lose the trust on it.
I suggest improve a back up option, like MS Word has on the next version and
you can
choose where want to save the back up file and this saving can be automaticaly.

The same

I got this issue, I think it was caused by pressing 'Save' and then pressing
'Save'
again before the save was complete. I will try to reproduce the issue tomorrow
and
upload a currupted file.

i got the solution to fix that problem. at least, you can recover your
important
works.
i had a same problem with xmind file.
accidentally, i clicked right button on top of the xmind file.
in that time i knew that xmind file is a zip file by itself.
i tried to unzip xmind file with my zip-utility(anything will be ok).
zip-util uncompressed these files and which were 'META-INF folder' and 'three
xml
files'.
i compressed these file in a one zip-file on it and renamed extension 'zip'
to 'xmind'.
finally, i opened broken xmind file with no 'ZipException'.
Try this. good luck.

This won't do for my problem because i've got an empty file at the end, so
basically
there's nothing to unzip... Something in the process has erased the content of
the
file.

Yo resolví el problema en Window 7:

1. Desinstalando el Java; con la Apps "CCleaner"
http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER
2. Limpiando Registros con "CCleaner".
3. Reiniciando PC.
4. Instalando "Java Platform JDK"
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Nota: No es necesario descargar e instalar Java JRE; JDK ya lo inlcuye.
