cd command not working #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect to remote machine
2. execute command - "pwd"
3. execute command - "cd /some/folder/location"
4. execute command - "pwd"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

In step 4 i was expected out put /some/folder/location. Instead disaplyed /root.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

cd command not working on x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.
