Hi! I like your approach to develop the vsdsynth script around the vsdflow.tcl, but since this is a TCL workshop, I would suggest that you rewrite it in TCL :-)

(the vsdsynth is using tcsh which the tc-shell which is similar to the C language, but even though tcsh is very similar to tclsh it is not the TCL language)
